It was the month of July in the great year of 1973 when I said hello to this world and thus began a childhood spent playing outside, having fun, getting up early on Saturday for cartoons and being forced to wear really tacky clothes with huge collars.
I’ve always loved everything about art, be it drawing, painting or taking pictures, and this passion has stayed with me for life. Oh yeah, I can’t leave out my insane obsession with music, where would I be without it?
I retired from the military in 2013, and during that time I was given the opportunity to travel the world and because I’ve always had a camera within arms reach, the journey was well documented.
Following my time in the service, I chose to stop being a guy with a camera and truly pursue a career in photography, which led me to the Academy of Art University. I will be completing my Master of Arts degree in May of 2017.
During this expedition called life, my lovely wife of 21 years and my 3 tenacious kids have been there through it all. It has been a crazy ride, but I would do it all over again if I had to.
